After We TV host David Tutera called it quits with his other half of 10 years Ryan Jurica, the latter allegedly stirred up a PR nightmare for his ex.
TMZ reports that Jurica allegedly signed papers before Tutera could file his docs, claiming that Tutera’s “addiction to sex” and “pattern of hiring sex escorts and prostitutes” caused their split. Now, the My Fair Wedding personality is setting the record straight.
“The allegations against me are baseless and untrue and I will fight vigorously to defend my reputation in the court of law as well as the court of public opinion,” Tutera said in a statement to People. “I believe them to be fabrications of a desperate individual in order to gain legal advantage in our separation.”
To make matters complicated, the two were expecting twins via surrogate mother this July. “I am saddened by these developments; I am angered by the lies; and I am committed to moving beyond this painful moment to focus on my professional commitment and the upcoming birth of my children,” he added.
Tutera’s filing says that he seeks full legal and physical custody of the twins, with visitation for Jurica. He also does not wish to pay spousal support and asks that Jurica be responsible for all legal fees. TMZ reported that Tutera makes upward of a $1 million per year.
Hopefully, he can afford some peace.
